On March 8th, International Women’s Day, the Dorpskerk in Bloemendaal will be filled with voices united for peace. The event, Vrouwen zingen voor Vrede, Women sing for Peace,  will be led by Charo Durán, a simger and voice liberation coach, creating a powerful space for connection through music.

Expect mantra’s in different languages, short repetitive songs that help cultivate inner peace and unity. The goal? To bring people together through singing, fostering connection in a world that often feels more divided than ever.

No singing experience? No problem! All women are welcome. A large group already has signed up, and you can join too! Bring your friends, sisters, or neighbors and be part of this experience.

The communal starts at 4 pm and it’s free to join! Want to participate ? Sign up at bureau@kerkpleinbloemendaal.nl

After singing, from 5 pm onwards, there will time to connect over drinks and snacks.

Women sing for Peace, is the first part of a three-part series. After this gathering in Bloemendaal, two more events will follow later this year: on June 21st in Haarlem Schalkwijk and on September 21st in Haarlem Center. More choices to raise your voice for peace!
