On Sunday, October 27th of October we switch from daylight saving time to standard time. At 3:00 a.m., we switch the clock back to 2:00 a.m. This not only mean an extra hour of sleep but also signals the start of shorter days. Mornings will feel brighter earlier, while the evenings get darker more quickly.

On December 21st, the shortest day of the year, the sun rises around 8:45 A.M. and sets about 4:30 PM.

For now, let’s enjoy that extra hour of sleep. So don’t forget to turn clocks back an hour before bed, and enjoy a slightly longer night!
