On Sunday, September 29, 2024, the 38th edition of the Halve van Haarlem will take place. While registration for the half marathon is now closed, you can still sign up for the other running distances, including the HERO Kabouterloop ( 700 meters), Kidsrun (1400 meters), and the Sport Support 5 km and 10 km run.

If you’re interested in participating, be sure to register before Septemeber 16 to enjoy reduced registration fees. After this date, registration is only possible if there are remaining spots for your chosen running distance. Keep in mind, spaces are limited, so act fast.

The Half Marathon route takes runners through various parts of the city, including the historic city center, the Zijlwegkwartier, and the Ramplaankwartier. The race begins and ends at Grote Markt, where most spectators will gather to cheer on the participants.
The course is carefully mapped out, and traffic control volunteers will ensure everything runs smoothly. The entire route will be closed to motorized traffic, so no cars or bikes will be allowed along the race path during this event. However, there will be several designated crossing points for pedestrians, cyclists, and scooters.
