Proper Disposal With Spaarnelanden

Spaarnelanden provides a convenient solution for disposing of your Christmas tree in Haarlem, Spaarndam, Zandvoort, and Bentveld.

On specific dates in January, you can drop off your tree at one of nearly 30 locations. This initiative helps prevent discarded Christmas trees from cluttering the streets. The collected trees are processed into compost and wood chips for biofuel in energy plants.

Exciting opportunities for kids

For every tree kids aged 15 and under bring in, they receive 0,50 cents and a raffle ticket. They also stand a chance to win gift vouchers of 5 or 10 Euro.

In Haarlem, kids may even win a grand prize- a school excursion of their choice. Winners will be announced on January 16th on Spaarnelanden’s website. To claim their prize, winners must email a photo of the winning ticket to communicatie@spaarnelanden.nl by January 23rd, including their name, address, and phone number.
