On December 24, the Grote Markt transforms into the heart of the Christmas celebration. The highlight of the evening is the traditional Christmas carol singing, an event that brings together people of all ages to share in the holiday spirit.

1. Silent Disco – A Unique Warm-Up
Before the carol singing begins, visitors can dance to festive hits through wireless headphones from 9:30 PM – 11:30 PM.
- Reserve your headphones: Make sure to book your headphones in advance via this website.
- No music on the market: Music will only be heard through the headphones, creating a unique and serene atmosphere on the Grote Markt.
- Headphone pick-up: Headphones can be collected between 9 PM – 9:30 PM, so arrive early.

At midnight sharp, as the bells of the Grote or St. Bavo church chime, the evening’s highlight begins: the Christmas Carol Singing.
